iQOO Z5 focuses on enhancing performance and endurance

After half a year, the Z series of iQOO’s affordable product line ushered in an update. The Z5 announced today is very mainstream in appearance. The front is a screen with a hole in the top center, and the back is a familiar vertical three-hole “Mahjong tile”. In terms of color matching, in addition to the relatively conventional dark blue and black and light blue and white, there is also a more special Symphony version. It borrows the three-dimensional striped back cover design from the “Black Territory” version of iQOO 7, giving the device a unique look and feel that is rare at this price point.

The iQOO Z5 has a built-in 5,000mAh battery, which is much larger than the previous-generation Z3, but the wired charging power has dropped from 55W to 44W. It can be seen that the factory has made a different choice when defining the product. After inserting such a large battery, the device still maintains a body as light as 193g and as thin as 8.49mm, which has a lot to do with the plastic material used in the rear case. In addition, Z5 also provides features such as dual speakers, Z-axis linear motor, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

This phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 778G processor, and is equipped with a “full blood version” of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage (6,400MHz LPDDR5 plus 128-layer V6 UFS 3.1), which is relatively rare among similar products. It is equipped with an LCD screen size of 6.67 inches, resolution FHD+, refresh rate and touch sampling rate are 120Hz and 240Hz, respectively. It supports HDR10 and DCI-P3 color gamut, and also has anti-blue light function. Because the LCD is used, the fingerprint module is placed in the power button on the side. In terms of sales information, iQOO Z5 will be divided into three models: 8+128, 8+256 and 12+256. The corresponding initial prices are 1,799, 2,099 and 2,299 yuan respectively. Pre-sales will begin today. In addition, the factory also announced that it will cooperate with the game “Douluo Dalu” in the future, and it is estimated that a special edition package will be launched.
