I’ve been a Disney World fan for a lifetime. Here’s how I rank all Epcot attractions from worst to highest.

  • I’ve been a Disney World fan for a lifetime and recently spent a vacation in the park in August 2021.

  • At Epcot, I love vehicles like Living with the Land and Test Track.

  • But I don’t like missions: the Grand Fiesta tour starring Space and three Caballeros.

I’m a lifelong Disney World fan who has been visiting theme parks since the late 90’s. After a recent trip in August 2021, I ranked all Epcot attractions from worst to highest.

We ranked each attraction based on the fun and accessibility found. I also thought about the relevance of each attraction, whether children and adults can enjoy it, and the memories of the past when I visited the theme park when I was young.

Attractions that weren’t included in this ranking because I never had a chance to visit are Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Guardians of Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.

11. Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival

Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival I live in a theater where Captain EO and Honey I Shrink Audience once played. Each show will run for 18 minutes and will feature three short films, “Get a Horse,” “Feast,” and “Piper,” in 4D.

This appeal isn’t necessarily a problem, but in my opinion there’s nothing special about it. Many Disney fans have already seen featured shorts, but if not, anyone with a Disney Plus subscription can easily access them.

10. Mission: Space

NASA-inspired attractions Show people who go to the park what it’s like to be an astronaut. You will be given work for flight, first choosing from two “missions” (gentle orbits around Earth or a fierce journey to Mars), then becoming a navigator or pilot.

According to the Disney World website, the milder “green mission” is a motion simulator, while the “orange” version actually rotates and tilts to “simulate spacecraft speed and g-force.”

I rode the latter once when I was a kid and hated how sick I was after that. To date, I will only ride the “Green Mission”. Because it’s one of my dad’s favorite rides. If it was up to me, I would like to skip the attraction altogether.

8. Grand Fiesta Tour Starring Three Caballeros

On hot days roaming around Epcot’s World Showcase, I often go on a Grand Fiesta tour starring three Caballeros. The boat is slow and air-conditioned, so Panchito and José Carioca embark on a journey after looking for Donald Duck.

But apart from the shade and relaxation it provides, the ride quality isn’t that exciting. It relies primarily on screens and short animations, but they look a bit vague and outdated today.

I don’t hate this vehicle, but like many Disney fans, I A theme inspired by “Coco” Is required.

9. The sea with Nemo and friends

The sea with Nemo and friends The exact opposite of the mission: the thrill of space and other Disney worlds. There’s a short ride that sits in a shell and moves through a virtual ocean, an aquarium-type section full of animals, and a shark-themed playground for kids.

I enjoyed this place as a kid, but on hot days I’m looking for a shelter at a theme park. I think the vehicle part is cute, but I’m always learning new things from the animal experts in the aquarium staff.

Still, this attraction isn’t overwhelmed by what I miss if I don’t have time to visit.

7. Figment’s journey to imagination

Nostalgia is one of the best parts of a Disney vacation and there are few great places to experience it. A journey to imagination with Figment, In my opinion. Figment has been a staple of theme parks since the 1980s.

The ride is simple and slow, taking people who go to the park to the “sensory laboratory”. There, you’ll see the upside-down scene, sing along with a catchy theme song, and smell the scent of a skunk. There is also a video of a purple dragon interacting with Dr. Nigel Channing, played by Eric Idle.

I would be pretty sad if Disney had completely removed the attraction of the figment, but I wouldn’t say no to the latest update.

6. Spaceship Earth

Spaceship Earth The first thing people see when they enter a theme park is sometimes casually called an Epcot ball. However, the ride itself is also outstanding. Parkers jump into blue cars and glide through historic scenes, from cave paintings to modern innovations.

In my opinion, the ride quality is fine, but the look is great — especially Recently added lights For Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Ceremony.

4. Freeze all the time

I was very sad to see Maelstrom freeing up space for Frozen Ever After in 2014. Almost eight years later, I still miss the charm inspired by Norway.

That said “Frozen” The alternative vehicle is pretty adorable. As with the beloved music that makes animated films special, there are fans’ favorite characters.

It’s definitely made for the younger generation of Disney fans, but most older riders, including myself, enjoyed the charm the last time I rode.

5. Crash and Turtle Talk

Turtle Talk With Crash can be found at Seeds with Nimo & Friends.Amanda Claus / Insider

Technically Turtle Talk and Crash It is a part of Seeds with Nimo & Friends. But in my opinion, it’s really good enough to stand on its own. The 15-minute show allows park goers to chat with their fans’ favorite anime turtles. It’s always improvised, guaranteeing a different experience.

Kids will probably enjoy it the most, but even at the age of 26, I’m always laughing at crash jokes.

3. Live with the land

Live with the land In my opinion, it is one of the most underrated attractions in Disney World. Ride a gentle boat and take people to the park through greenhouses and aquarium rooms used to grow and grow food in Florida theme parks.

There are also many hidden Mickeys at this attraction, and you may even see Disney gardeners active. The ride itself is simple, but it’s a really fun and unique way to get a glimpse of Epcot’s behind-the-scenes action.

2. Test track

I want to insist on it Test track Epcot’s most thrilling vehicle. First design your Chevrolet car to your liking, then jump into that “SIM car” and speed up at 65mph.

I loved and liked the original version of the attraction (refurbished in 2012), but I still can’t get enough of this ride. It’s fast and fun, and it’s been exciting to me for years.

1. Soarin Around the World

I remember riding this attraction when I made my debut as Soarin in 2005 when I celebrated the happiest celebration on the planet at Disney World. At that time, I was in awe of her ride quality, and I have the same feeling today.

RideAs Disney states on its website, it’s a “victory of the senses” that makes you feel like you’re hang gliding around the world. You can see the scenery from a unique perspective, hear the sounds of nature, and smell the environment displayed on the screen.

No matter how many times you ride Soarin’Around the World, it’s as exciting as the first time.
