Throughout the series, Twi’lek, Beads’ Fwip, who runs a popular cantina called Sanctuary, is Fett’s source, and the door outside her facility is where Fett first met Jabba the Hutt’s cousin. was. “twins.”

Sadly, Fwip’s time in the series ended with Wednesday’s episode “Chapter 6: A Stranger Comes from the Desert.” Two members of the criminal syndicate Pykes bombed the sanctuary, killing everyone inside, including Fwip.

Have you seen an episode?

I got up early and saw it. I was going to get up late last night and go see it, but then I thought, uh, I fell asleep. I love that episode.

RIP to Garza.

I know, but you never know. You saw the big scar on her chest. She is a survivor.

Hey, anything can happen in “Star Wars”.

That is, I have to believe she is dead.

If it’s comfort, she got more screen time than Boba Fett was in this episode.

[Laughs]

So what’s the inside story? Did you know from the beginning that death is the fate of Fwip?

I got all the episodes so I knew what would happen. I knew their intentions. When I was presented with that part, they basically already wrote down all my scenes. And this last scene was the top cherry blossom.

What did you think of her death?

I understand the beginning, the middle, and the end. That was ok. As someone striving to bring beauty and balance to a world that lacks both, I was very much tickled by being invited to a part of that world.

Both of these aspects are very common in your character. Were there any highlights throughout this trip?

Everything was a highlight. During downtime, I was able to roam the studio, find small pockets to store things, and see these amazing masks and props in rest. It was a heaven on earth. So I’m trying to be cool, but it’s impossible. [Laughs]

And what I had to do with hospitality was that every scene was set up in a place with lots of props, costumes, set dressers, and how you were organized —

It was out of control.

But observing all of this, has it basically been difficult to talk about it at all?

Brutal. I felt like I went to the top of the mountain and handed over the pills, but I couldn’t tell anyone.

It seems that the secret was so deep that you didn’t even know what kind of show you were doing. You didn’t Tell variety Didn’t you know that the show was originally about Boba Fett?

[Laughs] It was very interesting. At our meeting, John explained that he wanted to focus on Boba Fett because they are so good at wanting to cover things up, but “we’re doing another series.” I didn’t say that. To be honest, I thought I was in “The Mandalorian”, but I finally found out after it became a set. Frankly, I don’t care. I was happy to be there.

They must have put a lot of trust in you because you got all the scripts in advance. It’s rare. Actors in these projects often get them along the way.

Not only that, I called Dave, emailed him, asked about things, and made suggestions. There was a lot of debate about my personality. They were very open.

Can you remember the note you gave that made it to the show?

In the original script, employees called me a “master.” Since I came from enslaved people, I felt that perhaps we could choose a better language in this world I’m creating in my facility, the Sanctuary. And I thought it was a good idea and changed it to “Madame”. I was really grateful.

I noticed it a few years ago, but I don’t know.I was talking [director] Angela Robinson about it, but [her overall deal is] I’m in Warners right now, so I don’t know what will happen. I hope they get well, and I look forward to seeing what they come up with.I think it’s Justin [Simien, who is directing the reboot,] I came up with something really interesting.
