As the federal election campaign begins on the seventh day, leaders of major political parties will be instigated across the country.
Liberal leader Justin Trudeau is on the east coast and will stop in both New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
Conservative leader Erin O’Toole is on the other side of Canada making a presentation this morning at the Alcohol and Drugs Rehab Center in New Westminster, British Columbia.
Meanwhile, Jagmate Singh stops in Toronto to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the death of former NDP leader Jack Layton. This is the political giant he is trying to recreate his success.
Shin will appear with Layton’s son, Toronto City Councilman Mike Layton.
Elder Leighton led the party to the greatest performance ever in the 2011 election, when an orange wave struck Quebec, pushing New Democrats to the position of official opposition. But only a few months later, Layton died of cancer.
