“Lizard Rick Towing” star says his son was killed in NC shooting

Garner, NC (AP) β€”The owner of Lizard Lick Towing, a towing and towing business featured on a reality show, confirmed that his son was killed in a shooting in North Carolina.

In a Facebook post, Ronnie Shirley confirmed that 21-year-old Harley-Davidson was fatally shot in Garner late Thursday. Shirley and his wife, Amy, own the Lizardrick Towing and starred in a family-owned, family-owned truTV reality show from 2011 to 2014.

The shooting is being investigated by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.

News & Observer Report The agent responded to reports of shootings at home around 8 pm Thursday. Captain Jeff Coldwell said in a news release shortly afterwards that the callers reported gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the Sheets Gas Station, about 3 miles (5 km) north of the house.

There, the agent found Shirley, who was declared dead on the scene. A 20-year-old woman who was also shot was taken to the hospital, but her wounds were not considered life-threatening, Caldwell said.

WRAL-TV report The shooting took place on Tuesday when the family had a balloon-flying monument for a relative who died in a car accident in Fukivalina. Immediately after the shooting, several suspects fled the house in yellow cars, Caldwell said. Investigators are working to identify the suspect.
