Memphis police are looking for the man who pointed a gun at the Walmart employee who tried to steal the merchandise.
The man was out with his mother after scanning his items at a self-checkout at a Walmart on Raleigh Lagrange Road around 10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD). rice field. .
According to MPD, an employee checked the receipt and found that some items had not been paid for.
Police said the man was furious and told employees he was going to get a gun.
Minutes later, he did just that, police said.
According to MPD, the man walked back with the gun at his side before his mother forced him off.
MPD said he was driving an orange Mustang.
