In China, a video of a man being run over repeatedly until his girlfriend died has shocked Chinese social media.
A man, identified only by his surname Zhang, was arrested on the following charges: brutally kill his girlfriendsurnamed Wang, drove her body several times in his car in Tangshan, Hebei Province on Tuesday.
After the incident, Wang was taken to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead shortly after.
Local authorities arrested Chan at around 3:00 p.m., just hours after he fled the scene across from the public swimming pool.

A clip of the incident shows Chan ramming a white SUV into Wang, who falls to the ground. Bystanders are seen trying to intervene and move Wan to safety, but are unsuccessful.
Chan then steers the car towards a bystander and runs over his girlfriend repeatedly while on the ground.
A local pool employee told news outlets that Wang was working at the pool. Police said the incident is still under investigation.
