This is the story of Linehart in her own words, edited for brevity.
I honestly don’t know what to do financially.
My son continues to virtualize this year due to the high risk of Covid and the fact that children under the age of 12 do not have the vaccine.
I think it’s a shame they’re trying to reduce these profits without knowing that everyone’s situation is very different or similar to mine. I honestly don’t know what I’m trying to do to move forward financially without these benefits of unemployment.
With the unemployment allowance, I was floating. I was able to manage the bills and rent. I saved some money from the stimulus check, but it won’t last that long. My rent alone is $ 1,100 per month. I know there are other resources, but again, they can only do that, and I may not be able to enjoy their benefits.
I feel they shouldn’t end any benefit, at least until vaccines for people of all ages in the United States are available. Everyone must be vaccinated, including children under the age of 12, before ending the benefit.
Being the parent of this pandemic is very scary.
My son was infected with rhinovirus a few years ago and had been in the hospital for quite a few days, so I was very lucky to be able to go home. So who knows what COVID-19 will do to him?
There is no way for these children to hold masks all day or social distance. They are children, it will be almost impossible. So children with underlying medical conditions are dangerous to go and can be exposed to COVID-19.
I actually had to change his school. He was in a really good school, and unfortunately they didn’t offer virtual. In the context of him, I had to enroll him in a public school so that he could be virtualized.
The online education description states that parents should be in the room with their children during class in case of complications or technical problems.
Of course, when my son has access to the vaccine, he will be back in school and I will be happy to return to work.
It was my sanity when I went to work. It was my break from getting stuck in this house. I literally lost it and stayed in this house all day with my kids, such as during school hours, to protect them.
My long-term plan is to definitely go back to work after having a safe vaccine for these children.
Keep in mind that there are no vaccines for children under the age of 12 yet. Without these benefits, we would be in a truly challenging and perhaps impossible era.I will say [the governor] Be familiar with everyone’s unique situation about reasoning about why people can’t get back to work.
I will say [President Joe Biden] Exactly the same.
