A total of 10 Russian soldiers surrendered, he said.

“The 155th Brigade is known from the Kyiv axis when it was raiding the streets of Kyiv (February and March 2022),” Dmitrashkivsky said.

“They entered Irpin and Bucha. These warriors became ‘notorious’ for looting and wreaking havoc. But they were almost completely destroyed in the area.”

After recovery, this brigade reappeared on the Donetsk axis and was also defeated in November 2022.

“And today they have reappeared on the Vuhledar axis. Ten of their fighters have surrendered,” a spokesman said.

According to Ukrainian law enforcement, more than 1,200 civilians were killed in the Bucha region during the Russian occupation.
