Tennessee’s “Riverman” talks about icy Memphis weather during a winter storm

On Thursday, February 3, a huge winter storm from Maine to Texas struck Tennessee, causing snow, ice, and icing rain. This footage was taken by Dennis Jones and shows his neighborhood’s ice-covered branches and broken tree limbs. Bartlett, about 10 miles northeast of downtown Memphis. “Here I got a frozen tree … oh. In the afternoon, strong winds and icing rains said more trees could break. Authorities reported a vehicle collision on a local frozen road, so they’re at home to people.
