Microsoft puts a faster chip into the Surface Go 3

The Surface Go series, a small tablet in the Surface family, was also updated at today’s press conference. This time, Microsoft did not make too many changes to the Surface Go 3 in the design. The main thing is to improve the performance of this 10.5-inch device. The basic Go 3 will be equipped with a Pentium Gold 6500Y processor, and the higher-end model will have an optional Core m3 or quad-core 10th generation Core i3. However, in the memory part, you can still only choose 4GB or 8GB, and there are three options for storage: 64GB eMMC and 128GB / 256GB SSD.

The device uses a screen resolution of 1,920 x 1,080. There is only a single USB-C port and a microSD card slot on the body. Users with mobile networking needs can also choose an LTE module. As for battery life, the official data is 11 hours, which is considered qualified for a Windows 11 computer. Surface Go 3 has been pre-sold in the United States starting today, with a price starting at $400, and is expected to be officially shipped on October 5.
