Missing 30-year-old last seen in wing restaurant found dead, Texas cop says

The 30-year-old man’s body was found Wednesday, Jan. 18, the day after he was reported missing, Texas police said.

Weslaco Police Department Jesus Angel Romo was reported missing on Tuesday after being last seen at a Wings and Rings restaurant on Monday night. Authorities sought the help of the Dallas public to find Romo, who was wearing her cowboys hat and shirt.

Officers learned Wednesday that Romo’s car was found near a canal in an irrigation district about five miles from the restaurant, according to a news release. I started searching.
