News services such as The Hollywood Reporter and Variety are reporting that Modesto-born actor Jeremy Renner is in critical but stable condition after Sunday’s accident.
A spokesperson for the ‘Hawkeye’ and ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ star said reporter The Renner was injured while plowing snow. “His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care,” the source added.
deadline reported that the two-time Academy Award nominee for a leading role in “The Hurt Locker” and a supporting role in “The Town” has been airlifted to the hospital.
The incident appears to have happened at the actor’s home in the Reno area. According to Deadline, Reno Gazette-Journal, Renner has a house near Mount He Rose He Skeetahoe.
The actor – a Beyer High alumnus and former Modesto Junior College drama student – is just days away from turning 52 on January 7th.
