United Airlines suspends some direct flights from SFO
United Airlines has suspended several direct flights from San Francisco International Airport to popular business destinations until February. United (NASDAQ: UAL) has suspended SFO’s direct flights to Canada’s energy and business center Calgary. Based in nearby Bentonville, Northwest Arkansas National Airport is popular with technology vendors and other suppliers to Wal-Mart. Toronto; St. Louis; and Oklahoma City. Elsewhere in the Bay Area, United suspended direct flights from Mineta San Jose International Airport to the airline Chicago O’Hare Hub until February.
