A New Hampshire father is grateful for the support he has provided to a community that continues to mourn the loss of his wife and two sons.
A police officer answers a 911 call at a home on Wethersfield Drive in Northfield last Wednesday. Bodies of Cassandra Sweeney, 25, and her sons Benjamin, 4, and Mason, 1, foundaccording to law enforcement officers.
Since then, the New Hampshire coroner’s office has determined that each victim suffered one fatal bullet wound. All three deaths were considered murders.
Last week, New Hampshire’s Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Ward said, “We have identified all those involved. So they are accounted for. We have no reason to believe that the public is in any danger.”
Police haven’t said anything about a suspect, but they say Cassandra’s husband, Sean, is cooperating with the investigation.
Sean Sweeney said in a Facebook post on Sunday: As “normal” as possible… Nothing has yet been confirmed as to what happened or who is responsible.People around the world know that my beautiful wife is the most wonderful and caring of all. I know how much you loved our sons. It’s our job now to keep their memories alive. “
Cassandra’s cousin go fund me An account to support Sean’s funeral expenses.
The site described Cassandra as “one of the purest and most beautiful people I’ve ever met.”
Investigation is ongoing.
