Pelosi visits Kieu and meets Zelensky
US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi met with the President of Ukraine.
A video released early Sunday by President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office showed that there was a parliamentary delegation in Pelosi, Kyiv. Pelosi’s legislators included Jason Crow, Jim McGovern, and Adam Schiff.
Zelenskyy told the delegation:
Pelosi later stated: “We believe we are visiting you to thank you for the fight for freedom. We are on the frontier of freedom and your fight is for everyone. Our fight. The commitment is to stay there for you until the end of the battle. “
The visit was not previously announced.

Blinken says U.S. diplomats will visit Kyiv again
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says US diplomats are planning to return to Ukraine as soon as possible.
Blinken commented while talking to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. Blinken told Kleber that the United States “will return to Kyiv as soon as possible,” in a statement overnight on Sunday.
He said diplomats were “first visiting” Lviv in preparation.
The United States evacuated the embassy in Kieu in February, just before Russia began its war with the country.
Before quitting practice, the United States brought diplomats across the Polish border every day to work in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv, about 470 km (290 miles) away.
Although a missile attack a few days ago targeted railroad facilities near the city, Lviv was largely spared by the conflict.
The United States is one of Ukraine’s main supporters of war, providing billions of aid and weapons.
