Los Angeles (AP) — William Petersen and Jorja Fox are reunited. That’s right, it feels very good.

The actors who co-starred in “CSI: Crime Investigation Team” at an early stage have returned to “CSI: Crime Investigation Team”, which will be premiered on CBS on October 6th.

“This is something familiar and entirely new in my mind,” Fox told virtual television critics on Thursday. “Strangely, the world is even more topsy than it was in 2000, so there are many new events, but it was great to be able to establish a relationship with William Petersen.”

Like the original, the new show is set in Las Vegas. Wallace Langham and Paul Guilfoyle will also return to their role. However, there are new characters who joined Petersen as Gil Grissom and Fox as Sara Sidle, as well as the latest technology to solve crimes.

“I was a little rusty about all the science,” Fox said.

Petersen said he had a hard time stabilizing his hands using a lab tool that carried liquids.

“Billy and I were really good at things like that,” Fox said with a laugh.

“Age has caught up with me,” Petersen added.

Petersen left the original show as a regular in 2010. Fox started three years ago. Both made guest appearances.

“I wasn’t expecting to be asked to launch a new version of this,” said Petersen, executive producer again. “It’s a different world than it was 20 years ago.”
