A man was shot deadly in Kansas City early Sunday, officials said.
Police were summoned to East 29th Street and Jackson Avenue in a reported shooting after 5 am on Sunday. Kansas City PoliceSaid in a statement.
Upon entering the area, police officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound per block east of East 29th Street and Kensington Avenue, according to Drake. The man was declared dead on the scene by EMS.
Information on the suspect is not immediately available and the victim has not yet been publicly identified.
