President Biden officially called the Ottoman mass slaughter of Armenians 106 years ago as genocide. Armenian Americans celebrated the announcement and the Turkish government condemned Biden’s declaration.

— Today is 106 years after the mass murder of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire, now Turkey. More than 1.5 million people have died. Today, President Biden officially called it genocide.
It happened in the statement. Biden did not comment when he left the White House on his way to Delaware. In Los Angeles, it turns out that Armenian Americans are celebrating and remembering. Turkey condemned the declaration and maintaining violence was part of the conflict during World War I.
