Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he has been quarantined at home after learning that he was exposed to a person who tested positive for COVID-19.

The prime minister said in a tweet that he learned about last night’s revelations.

He says his rapid antigen test was negative, but he has been quarantined for five days according to local public health regulations.

Trudeau says he will work from home during the stretch.

Some of Trudeau’s ministers in recent weeks have had to be quarantined after a positive test or because they may have been exposed to the virus.

Trudeau will summon foreign leaders today to address the Liberal Caucus in a virtual hideout.
