Prince Harry and Meghan Markle landed in Aberdeen just before 4pm local time, according to the BBC newscast.
According to the broadcast, the plane was carrying seven members of the royal family. ITV News reporter Chris Shipp said on Twitter Prince William, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex also landed in Aberdeen to travel to Balmoral.
News broke early Thursday morning by Queen Elizabeth Under medical supervision at her summer residence in Balmoral, Scotland.
A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace said in a statement sent to insiders, “After further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned about Her Majesty’s health and are recommending that she be placed under medical observation. .
A spokesperson did not provide further information about the Queen’s condition.
Harry and Markle are in Europe for a series of charity deals that began earlier this week. They kicked things off at his The One Young World Summit in Manchester, England on Sept. 5, followed by a brief trip to Germany.
They were due to attend the WellChild Awards in London on Thursday, but it’s not clear if that appearance will still be available.
