Prince Harry is reported to have claimed that the Prince and Princess of Wales encouraged him to wear a Nazi uniform to a party in 2005.
Duke of Sussex According to Page Six magazine, in his upcoming memoir, Spare, he is said to claim that the prince and princess “laughed” when they saw him in costume.
Harry is reported to have written in his memoirs: This will be released next weekit was a decision between two costumes: a pilot’s uniform or a Nazi uniform.
“I called Willie and Kate and asked them what they thought. Nazi uniforms, they said,” Harry wrote, Page 6.
“We both barked. Worse than Willie’s leotard outfit! More ridiculous! Again, that was the point.”
The Duke of Sussex, who was only 20 years old at the time, wore a Nazi uniform with a swastika on his left arm to attend a “Native and Colonial” themed party hosted by Olympic show jumper Richard Mead.
The Prince of Wales was also a guest, dressed as a lion.
After the Duke of Sussex Mentioned the scandal in his Netflix documentary Last month, she called her decision to wear a costume “one of the biggest mistakes of my life.”
Meanwhile, a further leaked excerpt from the book, allegedly obtained by The Guardian, tells Prince Harry: he claims he was physically attacked by his brother in the midst of a dispute over his marriage.
Prince Harry claimed his brother called Meghan “difficult”, “disrespectful” and “aggressive”, according to The Guardian, which reportedly turned the confrontation violent.
Harry reportedly told William that he was parroting “the story of the press” around his American wife, claiming his brother “grabbed him by the collar” and “threw him to the floor.”
The unusual incident is said to have occurred in 2019 when a heated confrontation between the two brothers broke out at the cottage Harry shared with Meghan on the grounds of Kensington Palace.
Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace both declined to comment.
