Bistak Enterprises Inc because of possible salmonella contamination due to rodent invasion. And Bistak Groceries Inc. Various products distributed by have been recalled.
According to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, products may contain dried foods such as grains, beans and flour. Canned groceries; oils and fats; drinks; meat products; fish products; baked goods; spices; and milk powder.
All products included in the recall were sold by December 29, 2021.
The CFIA states that they were distributed in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and perhaps other states and territories.
The product must be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.
There are no reports of product-related illnesses, but symptoms of salmonella addiction include fever, headache, vomiting, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea. Long-term complications may include severe arthritis.
