Realme uses the Flash concept machine to demonstrate MagDart’s magnetic wireless charging solution

The first action is Realme, which has been growing rapidly in the past two years. They announced today a brand-new Flash concept machine and its flagship MagDart magnetic wireless charging solution. Specifically, the design team placed a 0.2mm thick wireless charging coil and a boron-cobalt magnet ring under the back cover of the phone. Based on this, chargers or accessories with built-in adapter components can be adsorbed to the back of the device with 5N suction, and then perform wireless charging or various functions.

In terms of concepts and implementation methods, MagDart can be said to be almost the same as MagSafe, but Realme’s strength is still the traditional strength of Oppo brand fast charging. This time they showed two chargers, of which the larger one can achieve 50W charging. It has a built-in active cooling system based on powerful fans. In theory, it should not be as easily limited by temperature as MagSafe. According to data provided by Realme, Flash with a 4,500mAh battery can be charged from zero to full in less than an hour when paired with this charger, and the speed is “almost the same as 50W SuperDart wired charging.”

And another thin and light charger can reach 15W power. Its thickness is only 3.9mm, which is 26.4% thinner than the MagSafe charger. Under this premise, it can be faster than MagSafe. According to Realme, it is mainly due to the separate design of the coil and the main board. The two are respectively placed on the two ends of the charging plug and the charging plate, which not only reduces the thickness, but also disperses the heat source. When charging Flash, this 15W MagDart charging board can fill the phone in just 90 minutes.

In addition to the pure charger, Realme also announced today a two-in-one mobile power bank. It also borrows from Apple’s MagSafe external battery to some extent, and you can suck it on the back of your phone to charge it when you are using it on the move. And when you go home or go to the office, through the matching base can be combined with mobile power to form a vertical wireless charging board. In this mode, the base will supply power to the mobile power bank, which will charge the phone. Although Realme didn’t say it, it should be the first priority to fill the phone, right?

As for other MagDart accessories, they include a flip-out fill light powered by mobile phone wirelessly, and a sticker that can hold three credit cards with its own stand. The official has not disclosed the mass production schedule of MagDart related products, but they have already prepared a MagDart transfer USB-C protective cover that can be used by Realme GT.
