Stacey Stevens’ boating business in St. James, Florida transitioned from recreation to recovery after Hurricane Ian made landfall in late September. The only fishing currently going on is cranes hoisting badly damaged boats from her marina, which serves as the ship’s emergency room. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission says she has more than 700 derelict boats along the Gulf Coast, but only two-thirds of them have been removed. Our correspondent Omar Villafranca reports.
