Many Republican strategists and consultants are increasingly disheartened by the millions of dollars missing from the Republican Senate Committee. The Washington Post reported Friday.

“If they were a corporation, the CEO would be fired,” a national Republican consultant working on the Senate race told the newspaper, referring to the committee.
“We’re not going to take the Senate now and this money is being wasted and needs an audit or investigation,” added the consultant, who told the outlet on condition of anonymity.

NRSC funding, which reportedly hit $173 million this election cycle, had already dwindled to $28.4 million by the end of June.
The commission spent over $12 million on American Express credit card payments, plus $13 million on consultants and $9 million on debt payments, for unknown reasons.
Many Republican candidates are currently struggling to raise money ahead of the November general election.
“It’s amazing, and it says a lot about the brand of the Republican Party that candidates are struggling to raise money,” JB Poersch, chairman of the Senate Majority PAC for the Democratic Alliance, told the Post. rice field.
“With extreme candidates and extreme positions, maybe Republican donors are aware that these candidates are out of their position,” he said. “Voters may feel the same way.”
