On the evening of November 13 and the next day, videos shot from a drone appeared on a Ukrainian website showing the bodies of 12 Russian soldiers in the garden of a village house. A post on his social network reportedly killed a Russian soldier in a mortar fire.
However, Russia has since accused the Ukrainian military of shooting Russian prisoners of war in Makievka.
Later, a video footage of the incident released by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense on November 17 provided more background to the incident. The video appears to be body camera footage captured by Ukrainian soldiers.

In this video, the Ukrainian military orders Russian soldiers to come out of the building one by one and surrender. They also ask who the commander is and if everyone has left the building.
At the end of the video, a man in dark clothes appears, apparently a Russian soldier. He fires at the Ukrainian soldiers while the surrendered Russian forces lie on the ground. The camera appears to have fallen and only gunshots are heard.
It remains unknown who the man shot and what happened afterward.
BBC News Ukraine has speculated that drone video captures and videos captured by the Ukrainian military show the same event. They claimed that “not only is the (same) door seen in both videos, but also something resembling a red toy car in the garden of the house.” Similar before and after shooting.
Yet the very moment the 12 Russian soldiers were shot dead was not captured on video.
The Conflict Intelligence Team (CIT), an open-source research group, reports that the videos are speculated to show two war crimes. Russian soldiers pretended to surrender and opened fire (Treason), and Ukrainian forces executed captured Russians without trial. The video does not show his second event.

The CIT added that it was justifiable to kill only those who started firing.
in the meantime, Russia accuses only the Ukrainian military of committing war crimes.
Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said the incident was a “deliberate and systematic murder of 10 immobilized Russian soldiers who were hit in the head”.
Shoigu also said Ukrainian prisoners of war were being held according to the requirements of the Geneva Convention, but this is disputed by Ukrainian prisoners of war released by international organizations and the Russians.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the incident was a serious violation of international law and called the Ukrainian military “neo-fascist.”
Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev called for the execution of the Ukrainian military involved in the incident. Officially, the death penalty is illegal in Russia.
