In a comment posted on the Telegram messaging app, Kiev city military chief Serhiy Popko said the largest number of attack missiles had been detected in a short period of time, destroying most of the “enemy targets” in Kiev’s airspace. . .
It was not immediately clear how many objects had been shot down over the city and whether any of them had hit their targets.
After a few weeks of hiatus, Russia resumed its long-range missile strike tactics in late April, launching a flurry of strikes, often targeting Kiev, in recent days. Ukraine has so far successfully repelled most of the attacks.
