Russia Performs “Unwelcome” Live Navy Training Off Ireland: Official

According to Coveny, the exercises will take place approximately 150 miles from Ireland’s airspace and the southwest coast of Ireland within the exclusive economic zone.

“The fact that they choose to do it at the EU’s western border off the coast of Ireland is, in our view, simply unwelcome and desired, now, especially in the coming weeks. No. “He continued.

“I have no power to prevent this, but I have made it clear that I am certainly not welcomed by the Russian ambassador to Ireland,” Mr. Coveny added.

This statement was made as Russia gathered an estimated 100,000 troops near the Ukrainian border and demanded that Ukraine not join NATO. Russia has also denied planning an invasion, stating that the Western accusations are merely a cover of NATO’s own planned provocation.

However, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov accused the United States and NATO of rattling swords and horror.

“This isn’t all because of what we Russia are doing. Mr Peskov quoted reporters as false reports that Russia is evacuating diplomats from Ukraine, which is NATO in the United States. It’s happening because of what it’s doing. ” Moscow denied those claims.

Russian authorities said State media RT Two Steregushchiy-class vessels from the Russian Baltic Fleet were launched from the port of Baltiysk in February to participate in the exercises. The Russian Navy did not specify where they would be sent, but said they would go on a “long-distance” trip.
