Scientists develop heat-resistant hybrid pumpkins to help protect them from climate change


Farmers across the country are dealing with the more extreme weather caused by climate change, and pumpkins may be the latest victims. Illinois is the United States’ leader in pumpkin production, growing over £ 500 million annually and generating an estimated $ 200 million in revenue.
