Soft and semi-soft surface-ripened cheese recalls caused by disease outbreak

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency recall Brands of Le Fromage au Village and La Vache a Mailot soft and a cicadasoftCheeses that have been aged on the surface due to potential listeria contamination.

Affected products sold by Le Fromage au Village Inc. include Angelus, Le Kashmir, Le Sandre de Notre Dame and Mello Dieu cheeses sold in 150g, 200g and 275g packages.

The cheese was sold in Ontario, Quebec, and online, and may have been distributed nationwide.
