Hooters waitresses are wearing shorts and some are complaining about how small they are. Known for its slightly covered servers and chicken wings, the restaurant chain has released new uniforms that include shorts that look like hip hugger underwear.

The Hooters of America showcase tighter and shorter shorts in various places, while the Original Hooters retain their old uniforms.

Tight shorts complaints were talked about on TikTok on various Hooters server accounts.

“I like my job, but I don’t like working in underwear,” a Hooters employee told TikTok, which has collected more than 1.9 million likes.

The same user posted a video that her TikTok became viral and Hooters CEO contacted her to confirm that employees were not required to wear updated shorts. The Washington Examiner could not confirm the claim.

Another user suggested that “new shorts like underwear” should be stopped in videos with more than 1.4 million likes.

Another user joked that he might quit Hooters.

“Hooters got new panties,” said one user when she was wearing her new uniform. “I mean shorts.”

“What should it fit?!?” Another user asked in a video that was highly rated over 3 million times.

“The” original “Hooters restaurant in Tampa Bay, Chicagoland and Manhattan will not change the iconic uniform of the brand’s world-famous orange shorts and white uniform top,” said the original Hooters spokeswoman. The person in charge told NBC News.

However, the uniform updated at the Hooters of America location is “the result of a collaboration with Hooters Girls,” Hooters of America said.

“These uniforms have been worn for months in several Texas markets and have received overwhelmingly positive reviews from both Hooters Girls and our customers,” continued the spokesman.

The Washington Examiner contacted Hooters but did not receive an immediate response.
