Memphis Grizzlies lost in one game suspension after Dillon Brooks’ flaggrant foul 2 was injured. Memphis Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins wants to know how the league will react after Ja Morant leaves the match early due to a knee injury.
In the middle of the fourth quarter, Morant was injured in a play where Jordan Poole grabbed his right knee. He dragged off the floor and didn’t come back. Jenkins said Morant was valued after the match.
“I just saw the replay,” Jenkins said. “He was chasing the dribble, but Jordan Poole actually grabbed and pulled his knee, so whatever happened was triggered, so I’m very curious about what happens after that.”
Morant later tweeted a replay of the injury, “breaking the code.” This was a reference to Steve Kerr’s comment on Brooks after Peyton’s injury.
