Meghan McCain defends Fox News by pushing fake stories
View / ABC You would agree that it’s not good to repeatedly press clearly false stories at the most watched cable news outlets. But if that person is Meghan McCain and the network is Fox News, that doesn’t seem to be the case. “The last guy in the White House loved to accuse the mainstream media of pushing fake news, but looks like his most. Wednesday morning Whoopi Goldberg said in The View. At the outset, he mentioned that Fox News was trying to steal an American hamburger that had been beaten for several days before it was finally published, and said that conservative outlets supporting it were guilty. Foxstar also repeatedly pushed the fake story that federal authorities had given immigrant children a copy of Vice President Kamala Harris’s children’s book, which was created at the New York Post and she “ordered.” That led to the resignation of a long-time reporter who said “was done” Sunny Hostin called the withdrawal “too little, too late” and the larger “campaign of false information that continues to come from these conservative outlets.” I called it a part. Sarah Haynes agreed that an anchor that perpetuates such lies “needs harsh and immediate consequences.” But McCain, who proudly declared himself “the only conservative woman in all media,” said: What I consider to be liberal media is not the story we are talking about, but the story we are not talking about. “For example, I’ve never talked about Hunter Biden as the” hot topic “of the show, but Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr. coughed in the wrong direction and probably occupied the first two blocks. “She continued. From there, she provided a plug to her husband, Ben Domenech. Ben Domenech is also a Fox News contributor and, in her words, runs Federalist, “one of the most influential and conservative websites on the Internet.” It exists because everything else is liberal everywhere else, “McCain said. “There’s a reason Fox kills it in the rating and wraps everyone else, because it looks like it’s being tampered with everywhere else!” Conservative media Instead of talking about two concrete cases of, McCain told a few days of unconfirmed stories about the Byden administration, and McCain said her show “should cover inaccuracies every day at CNN and MSNBC, and then we I can talk about media fairness. ” She refused to list or highlight specific examples from those networks. Joy Behar then pushed back McCain’s suggestion that View ignored a legitimate scandal about Biden’s son. “The reason we didn’t discuss Hunter Biden on this show was because the New York Post pushed the story, but it wasn’t actually scrutinized or verified by various media outlets.” Learn more at The Daily Beast.
