Texas Democrats Leave State to Block Republican Voting Bill
On Monday, Texas Legislature Democrats bolted to Washington, DC, saying they were ready to stay there for weeks in a second rebellion against the Republican election law review, over US election rights. I was forced into a dramatic new confrontation. I carry a large group of Democrats a few days before Texas Congressman is expected to approve early approval to clear new voting restrictions at a special session appointed by Republican Governor Greg Abbott. The plane took off from the airport in Austin.
