The best ski resort in the world lost due to climate change

Once the tallest ski resort in the world, Chacaltaya, now a collapsing relic of climate change in the Andes of Bolivia, was a popular weekend retreat for La Paz residents, just 30 kilometers away. By 1998, the Chacaltaya Glacier had shrunk to only 7% of its size in 1940, but disappeared completely in 2009.
