After three days of searching, Emmet officials believe they found the body of eight-year-old Tallinn Summers.
Gem County Sheriff’s Office This week, three Aidaho brothers announced they were listed as missing. However, the two old ones have been absent since last fall and were considered runaway. Tristan Sexton, 17, and Taylor Summers, 14, were last seen last September and October, respectively, officials said. According to a news release Thursday afternoon, the pair are in “frequent contact with their families,” and police do not consider them at risk.
All three children were finally seen near the intersection of Idaho 52 and Emmet’s Airport Road, officials said. It was believed that Tallinn probably joined her brother or fled, but on Thursday night Sheriff Donnie Wonder announced that the body had been found near the site.
Wonder also said the suspect had been arrested in Ada County, but neither he nor the Ada County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect.
According to the ISP, an Idaho police coroner was in a house on the airport road around 4 pm Thursday, and a representative of Gem County Sheriff was also on the scene.
“This is a very active event and an ongoing investigation,” Wonder later said.
Authorities said they did not believe that the two older brothers had recently been with Tallinn. Law enforcement agencies have contacted Taylor, and the family is in contact with Tristan, the sheriff said.
“Law enforcement agencies don’t believe they are at risk,” he reiterated.
The US Marshals Service Office and the FBI are also involved in the investigation.
“When more information becomes available, we will release it,” said the sheriff.
