Just a few days after the news was revealed, Fitbit officially announced the launch of the latest sports bracelet Luxe. According to Fitbit, Luxe is a fashionable sports bracelet designed like a bracelet, and the jewelry brand gorjana has been invited to design several exclusive bracelets and strap accessories. But the basic model is made of black, platinum (in fact, silver), and gold body with black, white, and pink straps.
In addition to accessories, Fitbit Luxe is also known as the most comfortable and elegant bracelet, because they use the brand’s thinnest AMOLED screen, and also inherit the Sense’s buttonless design, relying solely on swipe and click gestures to operate. And the fuselage introduces the jewelry manufacturing process, the stainless steel fuselage is made by metal injection molding, and the metal evaporation coating technology is used to make the soft gold and platinum surface.
Then comes the health tracking part. Fitbit Luxe will inherit the capabilities of other brand’s bracelets, including breathing rate, heart rate changes, resting heart rate, women’s health, as well as the upcoming skin temperature changes and blood oxygen concentration (SpO2) data. If you are new to Luxe, a 6-month Fitbit Premium trial will be attached, during which you can have more in-depth health data analysis, including stress management score analysis, physical activity status, sleep habits, and reaction ability. Functionally, it is already comparable to the Sense and Charge 4 high-end models, but Luxe is not equipped with GPS, so you need to bring your mobile phone with you to track the route.
Regardless of Android and iOS, Fitbit Luxe has the same function of mobile notifications, and it can also be paired and synchronized with mobile phones through Google Fast Pair. After all, Fitbit is already a Google company. In terms of endurance, Fitbit said it will be used for up to seven days, and will also have 50-meter waterproof protection.
Finally, there is the listing information. The Fitbit Luxe is priced at HK$1,198 / US$150, and the gorjana special edition is HK$1,698 / US$200. It is expected to be officially launched in June. The price of Fitbit Premium is HK$78 per month / HK$628 per year.
