During the test shooting, the focusing speed of this 70-200mm GM II is really fast, there is no breathing effect at all, and it can firmly bite the moving object when focusing. Sony explained that 4 XD Linear extreme linear motors are used in the lens to increase the focus speed by 4 times, and more importantly, it is quiet, suitable for changing the focus of the picture when recording.

After a simple test shot, the resulting image is very sharp, whether it is the widest angle end (70mm) or the farthest end (200mm), the center focus point or the side, the image quality will be similar. Sony used a lot of high-end lenses this time, including XA (extreme aspherical lens), two Super ED aspherical lenses and two ED aspherical lenses, plus Nano AR nano coating II, so that the picture is the cleanest, The clearest state.

That is to say, the telephoto lens is not necessarily only used for telephoto. In fact, it can be used at medium distances. In particular, the closest focusing distance of this 70-200mm GM II is also reduced by half to 0.4m, even with a large aperture. Portrait photography can be competent.
