And you don’t have to wait too long to experience the floating Ritz-Carlton. The first yacht, Everyma, will depart this year.
Five years have passed since the brand first announced its intention to launch yachts and cruise arms, and a pandemic occurred.

And after reporting years of delays in COVID-19 and the project surpassing the budget by $ 55 million, Evrima finally sets sail for a seven-night cruise around Greece in August.
A ship’s voyage usually lasts 7 to 10 nights, but the two itineraries cannot be the same.

While sailing, guests receive a Ritz-Carlton treatment on a cruise ship over 623 feet or on a “yacht” that brands like to call Everyma.
By comparison, the Royal Caribbean Wonder of the Sea, the world’s largest cruise ship, is 1,188 feet long.

According to the Ritz-Carlton, Everyma is much smaller than the Mega Cruz Liner, but this size gives it access to more desirable ports of call in places such as Greece and France.
The vessel can accommodate approximately 300 passengers in 149 luxury hotel suites at sea.
Imagine a two-story penthouse loft, a suite with a private terrace and whirlpool …
… A large bathroom with a bathtub and a living room comparable to a luxury condominium.
All Evrima private rooms have a terrace with sea views and a king-sized bed …
… Floor-to-ceiling windows and high ceilings ensure luxury for all guests.
You can also book multiple suites together to create a larger “open concept” room.
Evrima promises a luxurious time and is committed to the brand’s luxurious reputation …
… Like the cold towels and chilled mint water when you first boarded the ship.

On warm sailing days, passengers can spend the afternoon in the whirlpool or infinity pool (or choose a water fog while sunbathing).

Passengers can also relax at sea in one of several common spaces, including an outdoor observation deck, cigar lounge, cocktails and piano bar.
The ship also has a spa room with a private terrace and a personal gym trainer …
… And a list of places to dine, such as the European-style “SEA” restaurant designed by the chef who runs the Michelin-starred hotel Ritz-Carlton.
If you don’t feel the European tasting menu, you can opt for a sushi bar or an outdoor Mediterranean grill instead.
At the port of call, a local guide will guide you through the excursion.
However, if you stay on board, you can hang out with a water toy at the marina, the ship’s “private beach.”

Of course, this luxury comes at a price.
To experience the brand at sea, you will have to pay for the Ritz-Carlton. The itinerary starts at $ 4,100 from a five-night cruise in February from Florida to the Bahamas …
… 11 night sailing in Turkey and Greece starts at $ 12,500. This price is two to three times higher for more expensive suites.
Evrima has not yet begun its season, but the brand already plans to launch the next two cruise ships, Ilma and Luminara, in 2024 and 2025, respectively.

The Ritz-Carlton isn’t the only hotel and hospitality company to launch a cruise brand this year, but it’s certainly the most luxurious.
In late 2021, Margarita Building announced plans for a cruise ship to depart in May.
