CD Projekt Red is about to launch an optimized update for the “Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” second-generation console this year. In its tweet, it mentioned that it will launch a free DLC inspired by the Netflix “Hunter” episode. In the officially released pictures, we can see the “extra items inspired by the episode”, which shows that the relevant DLC content will be some kind of props, not the mission or plot that the players hope.

In April last year, CD Projekt Red announced that it would optimize and update the specifications of PS5 and Xbox Series X in “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”, including adding ray tracing and speeding up the reading time of the game. Players who have already purchased the game on PC, PS4 and Xbox One will get the new version for free. On the other hand, “Cyberpunk 2077”, also developed by CD Projekt Red, seems to plan to launch a next-generation console optimization update later this year.

Fans of the “Witcher” series can not only use this update as an excuse to replay the game, they can also look forward to “The Hunter: The Nightmare of Wolf”, which will be released on Netflix from August 23, a set about Geralt mentor Vesemir. Animated movie, and the second season of The Hunter, which was released in December.
