Two producers, Dave Anthony and Jason Blundell, who had worked at Treyarch and made significant contributions to the success of the Call of Duty series, announced the establishment of Deviation Games at Summer Game Fest. The new studio has started operations and is producing a PlayStation exclusive game for Sony. Based on the past works of the two principals, it is likely that the new work is a first-person shooter game.

Anthony at PlayStation Blog When I published an article, I pointed out that although the new work is still in the early stages of development, the production team has more than one hundred members, and they are all elites from all over the world. It also pointed out that Blundell and him will not only rely on the experience of making games in the past, applying old and new bottles of old wine to new works, but will also create “fresh” and “sufficient” content attempts to make players feel refreshed.

“We are unable to tell you the exact content of the new work for the time being, but the new work will be a large-scale action game full of energy. I hope to announce more details as soon as possible.”

This is the second time Sony has recently announced a partnership with a newly created studio. In March, Sony and former Ubisoft and Stadia producer Jade Raymond established Haven Studios to announce the production of a new original game. Perhaps in the next period of time there will be more studios that cooperate with them, especially to inject new impetus into the PS5 platform that temporarily monopolizes the number of masterpieces and is not attractive.
