PHOENIX (AP) — Two people were killed and 11 injured after a pickup truck crashed into a group of cyclists in Arizona on Saturday morning.
The Goodyear Police Department said the pickup hit a “large group of adult cyclists” just before 8 a.m. outside Phoenix.
A woman died at the crash site and a second cyclist died in hospital, police said. Eleven others were taken to local hospitals with “various” injuries.
An unidentified pickup truck driver remained at the crash site, police said.
Police have released no further information about the cause of the crash.
