US prosecutors have charged new sex trafficking charges, alleging that Ghislaine Maxwell recruited and cared for a teenage girl in 2004.
The US government extended the proceedings against Maxwell, 59, who is currently in prison in New York on Monday night. 3 other women and a girl.. British socialists denied the accusation.
Earlier accusations focused on allegations of abuse dating from 1994 to 1997. In late 2004, the allegations were brought in when Ms. Maxwell and her ex-boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein were meeting with Prince Andrew.
Between 2001 and 2004, Maxwell and Epstein said they had recruited an unnamed 14-year-old girl to have sex with Epstein at her home in Palm Beach, Florida.
Ms. Maxwell “seduced and groomed” the girl to engage in sexual intercourse with Epstein “through various means and methods,” the new accusation read.
Ms. Maxwell “gave the victims hundreds of dollars in cash” to massage Epstein and “encouraged them to engage in sexual activity” with the late pedophile financiers.
The prosecutor also said she was “inappropriate and abusive, especially by discussing sexual topics in front of Minor 4 and witnessing Minor 4 when she was naked in the Palm Beach Residence massage room. He claims that he sought to “normalize his actions.”
Maxwell, who is currently facing eight indictments, said Lost a third appeal bid earlier this month.. Her legal team has since appealed to overturn it by the United States Court of Appeals.
Maxwell’s lawyer did not immediately comment on the latest court filing.
The Duke of York said he first met Epstein in 1999 through Ms. Maxwell, whom he had known since college. That year was the first time a prince and a businessman were linked in media coverage.
Virigina Roberts Jufureh, trafficked by Epstein, claims to have forced sex with the Duke at Ms. Maxwell’s London home in 2001 at the age of 17. Prince Andrew has vehemently denied the accusations, the latest allegations made by the Duke in the eastern part of New York at the time.
Prince Andrew was filmed with Epstein in Central Park in December 2010.
Mr Maxwell’s trial is scheduled for early July, and prosecutors on Monday said it would help lawyers have enough time to prepare for the trial in the light of the new accusations.
The prosecution said it would begin production to defend the witness statement by mid-April.
“This work contains statements from more than 250 witnesses related to the investigation of Jeffrey Epstein and his fellow government-owned associates,” wrote prosecutor Audrey Strauss.
