Ukrainian journalists were killed when a vehicle carrying a Fox News cameraman was shot while the group was reporting on the Russian-Ukraine war on March 14.
24-year-old Oleksandra Kuvshinova helped Fox’s crew navigate Kyiv and the surrounding area, Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott told staff in a memo.

Fox’s foreign correspondent, Trey Yingst, called Kuvshinova “talented, well-informed, and witty.”

The deceased journalist is said to have enjoyed photography, poetry and music.
According to Fox executives, Kuvshinova, along with Fox’s Pierre Zakrzewski, died when the vehicle was shot.
Ukrainian officials have accused Russian troops, but the source of the spray has not been revealed.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24 at the order of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Ukrainian government adviser Anton Herashchenko said reporters were “innocent victims of Putin’s attack.”
In a statement, Gulnoza Said, coordinator of the Committee to Protect Journalists, said the group was “deeply saddened” by the deaths of Zakrzewski and Kyvshynova.
“The coverage of this war is an important public service, killing at least two other journalists in just a few weeks. Ukrainian and Russian authorities have secured the safety of all journalists and the press. We must do our utmost to thoroughly investigate the attacks on. “
Another Fox reporter, Benjamin Hall, was hospitalized for injury during an incident that killed his colleague.
Scott said in a note on Wednesday that Hall could later leave Ukraine for further treatment.

US journalist Brent Renaud was previously confirmed dead during his stay in Ukraine, but another reporter, Juan Aledondo, was injured near Kyiv while reporting the war.
