Ukrainian women whose village was attacked by Russian soldiers say they dressed her, stole money, and drunk and shot her husband with her feet, CNN reported.

Gina Kirko told CNN that Russian soldiers were out of control when they attacked her house on the weekend in a village near Brovary, in the eastern suburbs of Kyiv.

“They wore my women’s hats, coats and boots. They wore our clothes and brought our bedding … I don’t know what they did with it,” Kirko said. Told CNN in an emotional interview. “They slept, ate, and wandered. They stole our money.”

Kirko also told CNN that one of the Russian soldiers was drunk and used a stolen shotgun to blow her husband’s leg. Two of the Russian soldiers later admitted that they did not support Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, Kirko added.

She went to her husband for two days in her basement and then took him to a major hospital in Brovary where CNN interviewed her.

Kirko’s husband was lying in a hospital bed next to her with a bandage on his leg while she was being interviewed.

After a fierce battle over the weekend, Ukrainian troops were also able to reclaim the land of Brovary. According to the BBC.

The BBC reports that the closest Russian troops have advanced are in the western suburbs of Irpin and Bucha, about 15 miles from the city center.
