The Welsh government has confirmed that the wife of Welsh Prime Minister Mark Drakeford has died.
In a statement released on Saturday, a government spokesperson said:
“At this time, the thoughts of everyone in the Welsh Government are with their families and we ask that their privacy be respected,” the statement read.

Downing Street said Prime Minister Rishi Snack had personally extended his deepest condolences to Welsh Prime Minister Mark Drakeford.
Scottish Prime Minister Nicola Sturgeon said on Twitter that he was sending “love and strength”.
“My thoughts are with Mark and his family at this terribly sad time,” said Sturgeon. I have written.
