Woman accused of stealing Nancy Pelosi’s laptop on Jan. 6 gets a ‘fair’ break from arrest


Pennsylvania Woman Accused of Stealing Laptop Owned by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) January 6th Riot The Capitol is taking a break from house arrest this weekend.

Riley Williams, 25, has been under house arrest since being indicted on charges related to the theft of a laptop last year. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.

Williams was given an eight-hour break to go on a trip. Pennsylvania Renaissance Fair It began Saturday, less than a year after authorities indicted her for her role in the deadly riot, the court order was revealed.

According to the expo’s website, the accused mob will participate in events such as a “tournament of armor,” an “ultimate duel,” and a “Boarshead Brawl.”

According to the paper, Williams allegedly wrote a social media post claiming he swiped a laptop with Pelosi’s “gravel hammer” during the attack.

“I took Nancy [Pelosi’s] hard drive. I do not care. Kill me,” an official said she wrote on Discord.

“favorite [they’re] arrest me They’ll never let me live,” Williams is said to have posted.

She was arrested on January 18, 2021.

Williams has not yet set a trial date, the paper reported, but her lawyer said a status meeting set for Friday will allow her lawyers to find a trial date.

Williams has been accused of numerous charges, including assaulting, resisting, or obstructing certain officers. Disruptive behavior; entering and remaining in restricted buildings or grounds;
