Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky cursed the Russians after top aides claimed that what appeared to be missile fragments had fallen near the Kyiv presidential residence.
Press Secretary Sergii Nykyforov posted on Facebook On Friday, apparent debris of the missile was found near the presidential residence of Concha The Spa in Kyiv.
Zelensky replied: “Missed.”
Nikiforov’s post did not include photos of other parts of what are called missiles or photos of impact points.
Russian troops invaded Ukraine on February 24, but progress slowed due to logistical retreat and fierce resistance from Ukraine.
Since the first attack, Russia has claimed Kherson, the only major city. Ukrainian officials and human rights groups have accused Russia of war crimes, claiming Putin’s army is attacking civilians.
